  • My research interests are empirical industrial organization, health economics, family, and gender.
  • My current research focuses on physicians’ decisions and health outcomes under the National Health Insurance in Taiwan. Current research topics include:
    • Physician ownership, peer effect, and physicians’ prescription choices and quality.
    • The adoption of cesarean sections and the long-term health impact on the mothers and children.
    • Medical utilization and health outcomes of pregnant mothers, newborns, and patients during the pandemic.
    • Gender concordance between physicians and patients and its effects on health outcomes.
    • The effects of gendered laws on women’s life decisions.
